What’s the most important tip for maintaining healthy skin?
Remember that it’s all about what you’re putting into your body. Our skin is our body’s largest organ
and protects us from heat, light, injury and infection. Beautiful skin means healthy skin and you need
to remember that it starts with what you put INTO your body. I’ve been working with some companies
that I’ll be talking about to share some great tips for how to ensure you’re taking proper care of your
skin – especially as we head into the cooler, dryer months.
How does nutrition affect skin?
Maintain a diet rich in nutrients and antioxidants. Antioxidants protect against free radical damage to
our cells, so not only will antioxidants help to protect our skin from sun damage, but they can also help
fight lines and wrinkles. Fruits and vegetables are a natural source for antioxidants – Berries in
particular – blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. Another way you can incorporate these fruits
into your diet, is through a natural fruit juice. Fruit2Day for example is one that contains two servings of
